MARKETING is this year’s buzz word for BookRhythm! How do we educate authors on how to market? What services can we offer to help authors market? And…what marketing activities can we create?
Here are just a few we are kicking off 2015 with, but keep your eyes open…many more to follow:
Author’s 2014 Journeys: Was 2014 a critical point in your writing career, did you finally publish your first manuscript? Let us highlight your story on a semi-monthly blog post on our website. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with a 40 word summary as to why we should tell your story.
Newsletters: Worried about how you can stay in touch with your fans and let them know of upcoming releases, personal appearances or book specials? Well a monthly or quarterly newsletter maybe your answer. Social media is great, but a newsletter is just another avenue to reach your fans and keep them in the KNOW! BookRhythm now has a service to design your template, help with your content and put it all together for you in a neat package, ready for your fans. We can even send it out for you, from your designated email address (Some restrictions will apply). Making sure that your fans never have to miss anything again, there is no limit to what you can add to your newsletter.
Interested? Whether you currently have a newsletter or not, this is a valuable tool to be used alongside your marketing and social media objectives for 2015. So if you find you don’t have enough time, you’re struggling with the design concept or you are just getting started out.
Media Kit Building: A media kit is your silent sales person. It is a compilation of information about your book or your company that is provided to the media. Your media kit supplies media personalities with any and all information they will need to write a story or conduct an interview about you and/or your book. Your primary goal in producing your media kit is to ensure that you have made the media person’s job easier. They should be able to find all important and necessary information easily, in one place, without having to do any further research. It is also important to ensure that your book is presented in the most professional manner possible, and because the media are constantly inundated with materials, you want to make yours stand out from the rest.
Contact BookRhythm today for further information on any of the above. We can quote them separately or incorporate them into a multi-month marketing plan specially designed with your needs in mind.
